3 MINUTES March 8th, 2009

The
meeting opened with the Preamble. The
February minutes were accepted.
Treasurers
Report.
Bill L. presented the bank statement/financial report. The balance was $493.21. Bill requested a check for the District 3 post
office box 1974 in Alamosa in the amount of
$44.00. All agreed. The balance is now $449.21.
Bill
L. then moved to send $200 to Pueblo Central Office. All
approved. Last month, Chuck L., Candyce H.,
Debbie M. and Tim C. agreed to that as well.
NOTE: We
still need a District 3 Treasurer.
Committee
Reports. None.
GSR Reports.
None.
New
Business
Bill
L. called the bank and asked for automatic payment for Qwest at the cost of .30 pr bill. He also brought the SLV Federal bank letter dated
2/27/2009 authorizing Bill Payer.
Web
hosting Bill L. dropped old site because they have no FTP program. Network Solutions handles our URL Bill
signed up for one year because they have FTP program.
Bill reminded us of the website: www.slvaa.org
and that all content is approved and monitored by District 3 GSRs. The website now includes meetings and a contact
page for questions and suggestions. The
Central Office in Pueblo has a link on their website to us.

R. has agreed to be an additional contact for the Crestone group.
Serenity planning.
Next
months District 3 meeting is the THIRD Sunday of the month (because of Easter). That meeting will focus on planning for the
upcoming Serenity in August. So far, a
few committees have been formed:

Y. has volunteered to do an Al-Anon workshop but this has yet to be confirmed. She may also have an Al-Anon speaker.

hospitality table on Saturday.
