3 MINUTES – August 9, 2009

The
meeting opened with the Preamble. The
June minutes were accepted.
Treasurer’s
Report.
Bill L. presented the bank statement/financial report. The balance as July 7, 2009 was $255.44.
NOTE: We still need a District 3 Treasurer.
Committee
Reports. None.
GSR Reports.
Wednesday Night Alamosa Group. Mary
L. said the group was doing great – often getting 18-22 people with a good mixture of
sobriety.
LaJara Group. Chuck L. said the group
was doing fine.
New Business.
Taos Fiesta flyers were passed
around. Taos Fiesta is on September 18, 19 and
20, beginning Friday, September 18 at 3:30.
Serenity
Planning:
General: Mary and Bill
spoke today to the Chicago speakers. They are
still speaking and will be at Serenity late Saturday morning.
Al-Anon: Jo W. bowed out
due to health concerns. Linda H. and Janet Y.
will take care of the Al-Anon speaker.
Canopies: Bill L. was told that the
cloth canopies will remain in place at the Fort for shade and weather protection.
Registration
– Friday afternoon: Louise
S., Eddie V. and Mary L.
Grills: Bill L., Chuck L. and Julian G. will bring grills
for the Friday night steaks.
Parking: James and
scholarship folks.
Hospitality
Room: Main dining room (where
kitchen and showers are). For showering, bring
your own soap and towels.
